Announcing the TEDxGreenville Open Blog
Posted by aaron on October 14th, 2011In case you haven’t noticed, our blog does not get updated nearly as often as it should. We‟re sorry about that, and we‟re going to do better from now on. The catch: we need your help. Yes, you. The one staring at your computer screen right now.
There are tons of amazing TED and TEDx videos floating around on the internet (check out TED.com if you don’t believe us), and there are lots of people in our community who watch them. Instead of sharing your “aha” and “wow” moments with your computer screen, how about sharing them with us and then we’ll share them with everyone else in the TEDxGreenville tribe via our new & improved “Open Blog.”
Ready to get started? Here’s how the TEDxGreenville Open Blog works:
- Love It – Discover a TED video that you absolutely love.
- Write It – Write down your thoughts, what you learned, how it impacted you, why others should watch the video, etc.
- Share It – Send the link to the video + your name as you wish it to appear + your thoughts on the video to: aaron@tyrantforhire.com.
Use the subject line “My TEDxGreenville Open Blog Post.” Keep it clean and family-friendly (no dirty words for Pete’s sake).
Then we’ll share your post on the blog and send you an email as soon as we make it live.
Well, don’t just sit there, go watch some TED videos!
Aaron @ TEDxGreenville

I have been wondering what might be happening with TEDxGreenville:-) Occasionally I have checked in here and the MeetUp site. Today, I happened to check in here again…and yippee! I see there will be a 2012 TEDxGreenville event and look forward to hearing/reading more.
Thanks Aaron :-)
Thanks for all your help and support since Day 1 Ann! Lots more info coming in the next week, and lots of cool new things in the works. Hopefully, after a few things get set up here in the coming days, it won’t be as hard to keep track of what’s happening under the hood. :)
Great, thanks Aaron.
